Quality Inspector Location: Thetford, Norfolk Salary: Circa £40,000 per annum Contract: Permanent We are recruiting an experienced Quality Inspector to join an established manufacturing business in Thetford. You will support day-to-day quality activities, ensuring manufactured components, assemblies and incoming materials meet the required specifications. Key responsibilities: * Inspect first-off, last-off and finished components, assemblies and incoming materials. * Interpret technical drawings and complete dimensional inspections using appropriate metrology equipment. * Identify, document and quarantine non-conforming components. * Maintain inspection records, gauge calibration information and quality documentation. * Support PPAP, machine trials, Gauge R&R studies and statistical data collection. * Contribute to continuous improvement and ensure compliance with ISO 9001:2015. About you: * You will have at least three years’ experience in a quality inspection role within an engineering or manufacturing environment. * You must be confident reading technical drawings and using dimensional inspection equipment. * Knowledge of PPAP, Gauge R&R and ISO 9001:2015 would be advantageous. * Strong attention to detail, computer literacy and clear communication skills are also essential.
