I am currently working with a well-established organisation that is investing heavily in its technology and looking to appoint an experienced Lead Software Developer to join a collaborative, forward-thinking development team. This is a hands-on technical leadership role, ideal for someone who enjoys writing high-quality code while also mentoring developers, influencing engineering standards and driving best practice across the software development lifecycle.
Working within an established development team, you will take ownership of a suite of business-critical applications while helping shape the technical direction of the team.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead the design, development and support of business-critical software applications.
- Develop robust full stack solutions using Python and modern web technologies.
- Mentor and support other developers through code reviews, knowledge sharing and technical guidance.
- Contribute to software architecture, system design and integration across multiple applications.
- Help define and promote development standards, best practices and engineering processes.
- Work closely with Product Owners and stakeholders to deliver high-quality solutions.
- Support release management, CI/CD pipelines and application deployments.
