An exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced Electronics Design Engineer to join a well-established engineering organisation developing cutting-edge electronic products for demanding applications. Working as part of a multidisciplinary engineering team, you will be responsible for the design, development and verification of high-performance electronic hardware throughout the full product lifecycle. This is an excellent opportunity for an engineer who enjoys solving complex technical challenges and working on innovative products from concept through to production.
As an Electronics Design Engineer, you will be responsible for:
- Designing high-speed digital electronic hardware and supporting analogue circuit simulation.
- Developing board-level electronic designs from system requirements.
- Producing schematic capture and multilayer PCB designs using industry-standard CAD tools such as Altium or OrCAD.
- Supporting FPGA-based hardware developments, with exposure to VHDL or Embedded C considered advantageous.
- Performing hardware verification, validation and testing of electronic assemblies and sub-assemblies.
- Producing technical documentation including test specifications, design reports and circuit descriptions.
- Supporting existing products through investigation.
