We are working with an advanced engineering organisation operating within a high-reliability microelectronics manufacturing environment. They are seeking a Manufacturing Engineer to support the development, introduction, and optimisation of advanced manufacturing processes for complex electronic assemblies.

Responsibilities

  • Lead selection of materials and development of manufacturing processes for new and existing products
  • Act as a technical SME across manufacturing, engineering, and customer interfaces
  • Support the introduction of new products into production, ensuring smooth transition from development
  • Work closely with Process Engineering on development work packages and process definition
  • Produce and maintain manufacturing documentation (work instructions, BOMs, process specifications)
  • Support product and process qualification activities in collaboration with Quality teams
  • Engage with suppliers to assess and implement new manufacturing capabilities
  • Drive continuous improvement initiatives to improve yield, quality, and efficiency
  • Provide clear technical updates and progress reporting to stakeholders

Requirements

  • Degree in Engineering or equivalent industry experience
  • Experience in manufacturing support, process engineering, or technology development
  • Strong understanding of manufacturing materials and electronic assembly processes
