Responsibilities:
- Assemble, install, and maintain mechanical components and systems according to engineering drawings and specifications
- Conduct quality checks to ensure work meets required standards
- Assist with troubleshooting and resolving mechanical issues during assembly
- Maintain a safe, clean, and efficient working environment
- Collaborate with engineers and other team members to ensure smooth project delivery
Requirements:
- Proven experience as a Mechanical Fitter or in a similar mechanical assembly/maintenance role
- Experience in fabrication and working with steel components
- Ability to read and interpret mechanical drawings and technical manuals
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Relevant qualifications or training in mechanical assembly, fitting, or maintenance would be advantageous
