We are seeking an experienced Electrical / ICA Commissioning Engineer to join a skilled project team delivering a range of clean and wastewater projects.

You will plan, manage and deliver installation and commissioning activities, working closely with project, construction and operations teams.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop commissioning plans, procedures and documentation.
  • Lead and supervise onsite installation and commissioning activities.
  • Coordinate works, outages and commissioning with site and operations teams.
  • Commission and troubleshoot PLCs, control panels, instrumentation and communication systems.
  • Work with contractors on fault finding, configuration and testing.
  • Review electrical, instrumentation and control drawings and specifications.
  • Lead commissioning meetings and coordinate site activities.
  • Support projects through installation, commissioning and final handover. About You
  • Previous experience within the water industry.
  • Strong electrical, instrumentation and ICA experience.
  • Proven commissioning and fault-finding experience.
  • Experience with PLCs, control panels and communication systems.
  • Able to read and interpret technical drawings and specifications.
  • Strong communication and stakeholder management skills.
  • Willing to travel to project sites, including occasional overnight stays.
  • Full UK driving licence. Desirable
  • SMSTS / SSSTS and CSCS Supervisor Card.
  • HNC or higher in Electrical Engineering, Instrumentation or a related discipline. Benefits
