We are seeking an experienced Electrical / ICA Commissioning Engineer to join a skilled project team delivering a range of clean and wastewater projects.
You will plan, manage and deliver installation and commissioning activities, working closely with project, construction and operations teams.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop commissioning plans, procedures and documentation.
- Lead and supervise onsite installation and commissioning activities.
- Coordinate works, outages and commissioning with site and operations teams.
- Commission and troubleshoot PLCs, control panels, instrumentation and communication systems.
- Work with contractors on fault finding, configuration and testing.
- Review electrical, instrumentation and control drawings and specifications.
- Lead commissioning meetings and coordinate site activities.
- Support projects through installation, commissioning and final handover. About You
- Previous experience within the water industry.
- Strong electrical, instrumentation and ICA experience.
- Proven commissioning and fault-finding experience.
- Experience with PLCs, control panels and communication systems.
- Able to read and interpret technical drawings and specifications.
- Strong communication and stakeholder management skills.
- Willing to travel to project sites, including occasional overnight stays.
- Full UK driving licence. Desirable
- SMSTS / SSSTS and CSCS Supervisor Card.
- HNC or higher in Electrical Engineering, Instrumentation or a related discipline. Benefits
