Electrical Assembler

Are you an experienced Electrical Assembler looking to join a growing engineering business?

We're working with an established manufacturer in Newmarket that is expanding following the successful award of several major projects.

They're looking for an Electrical Assembler to join their production team, building high-quality electrical assemblies for bespoke engineering equipment.

This is a fantastic opportunity for someone who enjoys a varied, hands-on role within a collaborative engineering environment.

The Role

  • You'll be responsible for assembling and wiring electrical components and systems, ensuring all work is completed accurately and to the highest quality standards.

Key Responsibilities

  • Assemble and wire electrical components and systems from electrical drawings and schematics.
  • Carry out control panel wiring, cable preparation and termination.
  • Read and interpret wiring diagrams and electrical drawings.
  • Conduct quality inspections and testing of completed assemblies.
  • Assist with fault finding and resolving wiring issues during assembly.
  • Work closely with the engineering and mechanical assembly teams.
  • Maintain a safe, clean and organised working environment.

About You

  • Previous experience in electrical assembly, electrical manufacturing or control panel wiring.
  • Ability to read and interpret electrical schematics and wiring diagrams.
  • Strong attention to detail and quality.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively.
  • 17th or 18th Edition qualification would be advantageous but is not essential.
