An exciting opportunity has arisen for an NPI Manufacturing Engineer to join a high-technology manufacturing environment, supporting the development and introduction of new products into production. You'll take products from concept through to production, developing robust manufacturing processes, solving technical challenges and working closely with Design, Quality and Production teams. As part of a multidisciplinary engineering team, you'll play a key role in delivering successful New Product Introduction (NPI) projects, ensuring products transition smoothly through qualification into full-scale manufacture.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead New Product Introduction (NPI) projects from concept to production.
  • Develop and optimise manufacturing processes.
  • Support product and process qualification activities.
  • Produce manufacturing documentation, including work instructions and BOMs.
  • Collaborate with Design, Quality and Production teams.
  • Introduce new materials, equipment and manufacturing technologies.
  • Drive continuous improvement to improve quality, yield and efficiency.

About You

You’ll have experience within a Manufacturing, Process or NPI Engineering role and enjoy solving technical challenges in a fast-paced manufacturing environment. You’ll ideally have experience with:

  • Manufacturing or Process Engineering
  • New Product Introduction (NPI)
  • Process development, optimisation and validation
  • ERP/MRP systems
  • Manufacturing documentation
  • Continuous Improvement

Experience in one or more of the following is desirable:

  • Electronics or Microelectronics
  • Semiconductor
  • Aerospace & Defence
  • High-reliability manufacturing

Knowledge of cleanroom manufacturing, electronic assembly, AS9100 or ISO 9001 is advantageous.

Security Clearance

This role requires applicants to be eligible to obtain SC Security Clearance. Candidates must meet the required UK residency and right-to-work criteria.
