The Opportunity
An exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced CNC Miller to join a well-established precision engineering business. Working within a modern, well-equipped machine shop, you will be responsible for programming, setting and operating CNC milling machines to produce high-quality precision components for a range of industries including Aerospace, Medical, Nuclear, Scientific and Semiconductor. Key Responsibilities
- Program, set and operate CNC milling machines safely and efficiently.
- Interpret complex engineering drawings to manufacture components right first time.
- Produce tooling layouts, setup sheets and machine documentation to ensure repeatable manufacturing processes.
- Carry out self-inspection using a variety of measuring equipment and complete quality documentation.
- Work to tight tolerances while maintaining exceptional quality standards.
- Support and mentor colleagues where required.
- Maintain a clean, safe and organised working environment.
- Contribute ideas to improve productivity, efficiency and manufacturing processes.
