A leading UK-based engineering and manufacturing organisation is seeking an experienced Project Manager to lead technical projects across multiple sites in the Birmingham area. Operating within a highly regulated, electrically intensive environment, this business delivers energy optimisation, infrastructure upgrades, and building services improvements for some of the UK's most recognised engineering clients. This is a remote-first role, with regular travel to site required. This is an excellent opportunity to join a company with a strong pipeline of secured work and long-term contract potential.
Key Requirements
- Proven experience delivering projects within an electrical or M&E environment (essential)
- Electrical background or qualifications (essential)
- Experience working on energy optimisation / energy efficiency projects
- Exposure to BMS, HVAC, or building services systems (highly desirable)
- Strong track record managing subcontractors, project programmes, budgets, and site activity
- Confident operating in a remote, multi-site role with regular travel
Contract Details
- Outside IR35
- £300 - £375 per day (depending on experience)
- Minimum 6-month contract with clear scope for extension
- Remote-first, with travel to Birmingham-based sites
