End User Device Engineer
Location: Kidlington
Rate: Up to £250 per day Umbrella
Contract until end of March 2026 with possible extension
An experienced End User Device Engineer is required to support a busy ICT environment, delivering high-quality end user support and ensuring services are maintained in line with agreed SLAs and KPIs.
The Role
Provide hands‑on support across end user devices, working closely with ICT teams, business users and third-party suppliers to minimise disruption and maintain a strong user experience.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide 2nd line end user device support
- Resolve incidents, requests and problems within agreed SLAs
- Support Windows 10 devices, laptops, desktops and smartphones
- Identify trends and recurring issues, escalating where required
- Support moves, projects, events and technology refresh activity
- Maintain and update documentation and knowledge articles
- Follow asset management and ICT governance processes
- Identify and suggest service improvements
Required Skills and Experience
- Experience in ICT operational or EUD support roles
- Strong Windows 10, desktop, laptop and mobile device support experience
- Excellent troubleshooting and diagnostic skills
- Customer-focused approach with strong communication skills
- Ability to work across multiple locations
- Full UK driving licence
Desirable
- ITIL v3 or ITIL v4 certification
- Experience using ServiceNow
