NXTGEN are delighted to be supporting a leading local firm of accountants in their search for a new Accounts Semi Senior. You will be joining a firm that prides itself on delivering outstanding services to clients, putting them at the centre of all that they do. As Accounts Semi Senior, you will have the opportunity to work closely with clients, managing queries as and when they arise, whilst also delivering management accounts and statutory fillings for them. The firm has a proven background in developing staff and the Semi Senior will have the opportunity to study towards becoming a fully qualified accountant, leaning on the experience of senior leadership and partners within the firm.
Key responsibilities within the role will include:
- Provide bookkeeping and management accounting services to a diverse range of clients
- Support the preparation of year end statutory fillings
- Support the completion of corporate and personal tax returns, working closely with small business owners on tax queries
- Completion of quarterly VAT returns for clients
- Manage ad hoc queries from clients
The successful candidate will ideally be AAT qualified or nearing completion of their AAT studies. A desire to go onto further study would be ideal with the firm able to offer a fantastic training program with a history of developing excellent fully qualified accountants. Candidates will need to demonstrate prior experience working within an accountancy practice and will be confident working in a client facing capacity.
Salary and package offered will be dependent on qualification and experience.
