Following the successful award of a major civils contract, TEC Installations Ltd is seeking an experienced Civils Manager to join our team.

Role Overview

You will lead the delivery of telecoms and infrastructure civils projects across multiple sites, ensuring works are completed safely, on time, and to the highest standards.

Key Responsibilities

  • Oversee day-to-day delivery of civils works across multiple sites
  • Plan and coordinate labour, plant, materials, and logistics
  • Review scopes and surveys, providing clear direction to site teams
  • Manage site programmes, accommodation, and deliveries
  • Supervise subcontractors and direct labour, ensuring performance and compliance
  • Monitor progress, identify risks, and resolve issues efficiently
  • Ensure projects are delivered in line with programme and client expectations
  • Maintain clear communication with clients and internal stakeholders
  • Implement quality assurance processes, including inspections and documentation
  • Ensure timely and accurate completion of handover packs

Health & Safety

  • Ensure compliance with CDM regulations and company HSEQ procedures
  • Review and approve RAMS and Construction Phase Plans
  • Carry out site audits and promote a strong safety culture
  • Manage incident reporting, investigations, and corrective actions
  • Ensure workforce competence, training, and inductions

Requirements

  • Proven experience as a Civils Manager or Senior Supervisor (telecoms preferred)
  • Strong knowledge of telecoms civils works (foundations, ducting, compounds, fencing, cabling routes)
  • Good understanding of CDM and health & safety best practice
  • Experience managing multiple sites and teams
  • Strong organisational, leadership, and problem-solving skills

Desirable Qualifications

  • SMSTS
  • NRSWA Supervisor (where applicable)
  • Relevant construction or engineering qualification
