About the Role
We are seeking a Trade Compliance Manager to lead all aspects of trade compliance within our organization. This hybrid role will ensure that appropriate controls are in place to meet both UK and US trade regulations. You will play a key role in managing import/export compliance, maintaining robust control frameworks, and guiding strategic alignment with regulatory requirements.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead trade compliance initiatives across the organization, ensuring adherence to UK and US regulations.
- Maintain and oversee robust control frameworks for managing imports, exports, and special customs procedures.
- Manage all import/export customs entries, providing clearance instructions and maintaining accurate records.
- Obtain and manage export licences, maintain records of use, and report to relevant authorities.
- Serve as the primary contact for regulatory bodies, handling queries, audits, and reviews.
- Implement and maintain procedures to prevent violations of US regulations, including ITAR/EAR and technology control regulations.
- Continuously monitor and improve compliance systems and processes across the business.
- Define and execute compliance strategy to ensure alignment with regulatory requirements.
