About the Role
As an Operations Associate, you\’ll play a hands-on role in helping restaurants launch, succeed, and grow with Tebi. From onboarding to scaling processes and supporting our merchant base, you\’ll blend analytical thinking, executional rigor, and customer empathy to shape how we operate at scale. You\’ll work closely with our Ops, Product, and Leadership teams, becoming a trusted expert on restaurant needs and helping us continuously improve how we serve them.
You will be a key strategic partner to Tebi\’s management team, working across teams such as Operations, Finance, Product, and Leadership to drive growth and operational excellence.
Responsibilities
- Owning and implementing the growth strategy for a region, including launching new markets for Tebi, taking the market from 0-1, and taking our existing markets from 1-10.
- Prospect, meet with, and close partnerships with Restaurants and other hospitality venues.
- Act as an advocate for Tebi\’s brand, representing our company\’s vision, values, and unique value proposition to potential partners.
- Analyze market trends, customer behavior, and competitive landscape to identify growth opportunities.
- Develop and execute strategies to penetrate new markets, increase market share, and drive revenue growth.
- Build tools, provide geo insights, analysis, and reporting structures to surface insights, and recommend strategies and initiatives to cross-functional teams.
- Become a trusted subject matter expert within the hospitality community.
- Establish a new benchmark for operational excellence by proactively addressing operational bottlenecks and efficiently managing how we scale Tebi.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with new Tebi clients.
What You\’ll Need
- 2+ years of experience in sales, working at a startup, business development, or related experience in the hospitality industry
- Bachelor\’s degree in business, finance, engineering, or a related field (or equivalent work experience).
- Willingness to roll up your sleeves and do whatever it takes with a \”Leave ego at the door\” mentality
- Self-motivated with the ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced startup environment.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to effectively engage with customers and internal stakeholders.
