Overview
At Rheged, our meetings and events program is growing and we are looking for a new Cinema and Events Assistant to create memorable experiences for our visitors while working hard together as a team. We’re looking for someone who shares our values of Warmth, Graft and Courage to join us in supporting the smooth running of our meetings, events and cinema services.
As our Meetings & Cinema Assistant, you’ll play a key part in ensuring every customer feels welcome and well looked after. You’ll coordinate meetings from start to finish, working closely with catering, cinema and operations teams to deliver seamless service. You’ll also support our cinema offer, from projection and guest seating to keeping the space clean and inviting.
Responsibilities
- You will need to:
- Act as the friendly, professional point of contact for meeting clients and customers
- Set up, refresh and clear meeting spaces
- Provide on-site support, including food service and basic technical help in the meeting rooms (training given)
- Help open and close our cinema and Rheged, seat customers and assist with projection equipment
- Support colleagues to maintain the highest service standards
Qualifications and Attributes
We are looking for a natural communicator with customer service experience who is organised, calm under pressure and ready to roll up your sleeves. You will need to be confident with IT and detail-focused and be a team player with energy, positivity and commercial awareness. As well as working as a team you will need to be able to work on your own with effective time management to ensure that you deliver the meetings and cinema programme successfully.
