Do you have a passion for seeing the Church participate in God's mission to restore the whole of creation—serving and encouraging flourishing people and thriving communities? Tearfund is seeking an Operations Officer to join our Theology and Network Engagement Team. In this role, you will support a global team of theologians from diverse contexts, providing high-quality administrative and operational support. You will work collaboratively across Tearfund, help build and sustain relationships with key allies, and contribute to the coordination of theological training and development activities. This role offers meaningful exposure to Tearfund's theological work and global mission.
Responsibilities
- Is highly organised, creative, relational, and able to thrive in a dynamic environment.
- Has experience working cross-culturally and engaging with people at all levels of an organisation.
- Brings strong experience in administrative and operational support, including managing calendars, meetings, events, and internal processes.
- Can act as a calm, confident, and welcoming point of contact for the team.

Role details
Role location: This role can be based in any country where Tearfund is registered and legally allowed to employ staff. Split between a country office and your home in agreement with your line manager.
Contract: This is a 1 year, part time (0.5 fte) fixed term contract and salary will be market related and based on location.
Working arrangements
Hybrid working for UK candidates: This role is eligible for hybrid working and you will be required to work from Tearfund's office in Teddington and from your home by agreement with the line manager.
