This is a fantastic opportunity for a confident and pro-active relationship builder and relationship manager to join one of the UK\’s leading Christian relief and development agencies, as we reach out to trusts and foundations in the UK and seek to secure gifts that enable Tearfund to help more people who are living in poverty.
We have the privilege of working with a wide range of funders, as well as Tearfund\’s field staff, technical experts and leadership team. We enable funders to connect with the issues they are passionate about and to challenge the injustices they see.
Good relationships are key to what we do – both internally and externally – so building connections in both spheres is key to this role.

Role Details
Hybrid working: This role is eligible for hybrid working and you will be required to work from Tearfund\’s office in Teddington and from home by agreement with the line manager.
Contract: This is a 12 month fixed term contract
Hours: This is a full-time role 35 hours per week; flexible working patterns may be considered.

Responsibilities
- Develop and manage relationships with trusts and foundations to secure gifts that support Tearfund’s work.
- Collaborate with Tearfund field staff, technical experts and leadership team to connect funders with Tearfund’s priorities and impact.
- Identify and pursue funding opportunities aligned with Tearfund’s mission and funder interests.
- Represent Tearfund professionally to external funders and maintain accurate records of engagements and outcomes.
