Buying Assistant

The ideal candidate will be detail-oriented and an organized individual who will join the team as an Assistant Buyer in the beauty industry. You will have a passion for beauty products, excellent analytical skills, and the ability to work collaboratively with the buying team. You will support the buying team in sourcing and purchasing products, maintaining inventory levels, and ensuring timely delivery to meet customer demands.

Main Responsibilities:

• Sourcing and selecting a range of beauty products based upon marking trends, customer preference and budgetary constraints.
• Collaborating with suppliers and negotiating terms and delivery schedules.
• Conducting Market research for emerging trends and competitor analysis.
• Maintain product database with pricing, specifications.
• Monitor inventory levels and sales performance.
• Collaboration with cross functional teams with regard to strategies and campaigns to help drive brand awareness.
• Co-ordination of timely deliveries and assisting with PO’s & Invoice preparation and procurement documentation.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with suppliers, attend trade shows and industry events to stay updated with new products on the market and industry developments.
• Reporting – analysis of sales data, market trends, customer feedback and recommendations of product assortment and pricing strategies.
