Hours: Monday to Friday 9am – 5pm

We are excited to be working with one of the country’s top racehorse training families, O’Neill Racing, based in the heart of the Cotswolds, twenty minutes from Cheltenham Racecourse. The O’Neill family have a long, successful history in racing.

The Role:

Executive Personal Assistant to the Directors of O’Neill Racing. To provide support in managing the day-to-day running of personal and business diaries to allow the team to focus on their roles. This is a fantastic opportunity for anyone with proven experience of working within an entrepreneurial family setting or for a top CEO; who likes to organise and deliver. Excellent working environment within a dynamic and progressive team.

What will you be doing? Tasks include:

  • Handle phone calls, enquiries and requests, acting as the first point of contact
  • Manage multiple email inboxes
  • Organising and maintaining diaries and making appointments
  • Maintaining, updating and sending communications through CRM Salesforce
  • Coordinating events (Numerous owners’ events, staff parties, charity voucher events, etc.)
  • Attend weekly marketing meetings, take clear and actionable notes, and follow up on agreed tasks
  • Assist in planning and executing marketing and business campaigns with external collaborators
  • Monitor social media engagement, respond to inquiries, follow social media within our industry and competitors
  • Day-to-day property management tasks, including maintenance scheduling and contractor coordination
  • Meet and greet visitors, preparing and serving refreshments

Skills required:

  • Confident in working with all of MS office apps
  • High levels of accuracy and good attention to detail, fast accurate typing skills
  • Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities and deliver in a timely manner
  • Working knowledge of social media platforms
  • Maintain confidentiality and discretion at all times
  • Good team player with positive, friendly and warm attitude
  • Ability to work autonomously as well as part of a team with a “can do” attitude and the desire to assist others when required
  • Good problem solver, resourceful and well organised
  • Good oral and written communication skills
  • Car driver licence essential
