Teamwork Partnership are recruiting for an experienced Inventory Manager / Stock Manager to join a fast-paced warehouse and distribution environment. This is a key operational role responsible for managing stock accuracy, inventory processes, and team performance, ensuring products are available to meet customer demand while maintaining cost control and compliance.

Key Responsibilities

  • Inventory Management
    • Manage and monitor stock levels to ensure continuous supply
    • Oversee cycle counts, investigations, and stock reporting
    • Ensure inventory accuracy and minimise stock loss
    • Maintain compliance with SOX and internal stock control processes
  • Reporting & Performance
    • Produce daily/weekly inventory and performance reports
    • Monitor KPIs and ensure targets are achieved
    • Analyse discrepancies and implement corrective actions (RCA / 8D)
  • Team Management
    • Lead, manage, and develop the stock control team
    • Conduct appraisals, 1-2-1s, and training
    • Ensure team performance aligns with KPIs and operational targets
  • Operations & Process Improvement
    • Work closely with Warehouse Supervisors and Operations Managers
    • Drive continuous improvement and efficiency within inventory processes
    • Recommend and implement process improvements
  • Compliance & Standards
    • Ensure compliance with ISO, HSE, and operational standards
    • Maintain accurate documentation and reporting systems
    • Ensure all processes align with company policies and procedures

Requirements

  • Experience in inventory / stock management within logistics or warehousing
  • Strong understanding of stock control processes and cycle counting
  • Experience managing teams and driving performance
  • Strong analytical and reporting skills (Excel / systems)
  • Knowledge of warehouse KPIs and operational targets
