Teamwork partnership is currently looking for FLT Driver, where your expertise in forklift operation and materials handling will keep our warehouse running smoothly and efficiently.
Duties
- Operate forklift equipment safely and efficiently to load, unload, and move materials within the warehouse.
- Manage shipping and receiving processes, verifying shipments against documentation.
- Use warehouse management systems to track inventory movements and update records accurately.
- Perform routine equipment repairs or report maintenance needs to ensure optimal forklift performance.
- Handle heavy lifting tasks with mechanical knowledge to ensure proper handling of materials.
- Assist with inventory organization, stock rotation, and space optimization.
- Conduct safety inspections of equipment and work areas regularly to maintain a secure environment.
Requirements
- Proven experience operating forklifts and familiarity with warehouse management systems.
- Strong materials handling skills, including heavy lifting and safe load management.
- Knowledge of shipping and receiving procedures and documentation standards.
- Ability to perform basic math calculations for inventory counts and measurements.
- Prior warehouse experience is highly preferred.
- Physical stamina for prolonged periods of heavy lifting, standing, and moving throughout shifts.
Shift pattern: 4 on 4 off 6 am - 6 pm
Pay rate: AM £15.34 Nights £16.19
