Job description: Teamwork Partnership is recruiting on behalf of a well-established food manufacturing business for a Process & Improvement Engineer based in Worksop .
This is a fantastic opportunity for an experienced engineer with a passion for continuous improvement, lean manufacturing and engineering excellence.
You'll play a key role in improving manufacturing performance, reducing waste, increasing equipment reliability and delivering engineering projects within a fast-paced FMCG environment.
The Role As a Process & Improvement Engineer , you will work closely with Engineering and Production teams to identify opportunities for process improvements, optimise manufacturing performance and support continuous improvement initiatives across the site.
Key Responsibilities Drive continuous improvement projects across manufacturing operations.
Lead Root Cause Analysis (RCA) investigations to reduce downtime and improve efficiency.
Support TPM (Total Productive Maintenance) and Reliability Centred Maintenance (RCM) initiatives.
Improve equipment reliability, productivity and manufacturing performance.
Review and update Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs).
Support engineering projects from planning through to implementation.
Work alongside suppliers to introduce new technologies and improve equipment performance.
Deliver training to production and engineering teams.
Support planned and predictive maintenance activities.
Ensure compliance with Food Safety, Quality and Health & Safety standards.
About You We're looking for someone who has:?
Engineering Apprenticeship or HNC/HND (or equivalent) in Engineering ?
Experience in Process Improvement, Manufacturing Engineering or Continuous Improvement within manufacturing ?
Strong understanding of manufacturing processes and maintenance systems ?
Experience with structured problem-solving and Root Cause Analysis ?
Excellent communication and organisational skills ?
