Join a Leading Flexible Packaging Manufacturer. Teamwork Partnership is recruiting for an experienced Machine Minder/Lamination Operator to join a well-established packaging manufacturer. This is an excellent opportunity for someone with flexographic printing and lamination experience who is passionate about quality, safety, and continuous improvement. You will play a key role in ensuring production runs efficiently while maintaining the highest standards of product quality and operational performance.

The Role

As a Machine Minder/Lamination Operator, you will be responsible for setting up, operating, and maintaining lamination equipment while ensuring production targets, quality standards, and safety requirements are consistently achieved. Working closely with production, quality, and maintenance teams, you will support the delivery of high-quality packaging products within a fast-paced manufacturing environment.

Key Responsibilities

  • Set up and operate lamination machinery safely and efficiently
  • Prepare materials, films, adhesives, and machine settings for production runs
  • Conduct pre-production testing and quality checks
  • Monitor production performance, quality standards, and material usage
  • Verify materials and specifications before production starts
  • Complete first-off approvals and in-process quality inspections
  • Load and unload materials using approved equipment
  • Apply adhesives and ensure products meet specification requirements
  • Perform routine maintenance, troubleshooting, and machine adjustments
  • Maintain accurate production and quality records
  • Support continuous improvement initiatives
  • Train and support new team members where required
  • Ensure compliance with BRC standards, company procedures, and health & safety regulations
  • Work closely with the Quality Department to investigate and resolve production issues
