You will be involved in the preparation, manufacturing, assembly and packing of chilled food products, ensuring all products meet customer specifications and company standards.
The Role
As a Production Operative, your duties will include
- Preparing, assembling and packing chilled food products
- Handling food products safely and following Good Manufacturing Practice (GMP)
- Checking products meet required quality and customer specifications
- Maintaining excellent hygiene and housekeeping standards
- Working safely and following Health & Safety and COSHH procedures
- Maximising production output while maintaining quality and safety
- Helping to minimise product and packaging waste
- Completing production paperwork accurately and on time
- Reporting any food safety or quality concerns immediately
- Working closely with colleagues and other departments to keep production running efficiently.
What We're Looking For
We are looking for candidates who
- Have an understanding of food safety procedures
- Can follow instructions accurately

- Are willing to learn new skills
- Have good basic literacy skills
- Are willing to complete basic food hygiene training.
Previous food production, manufacturing, packing or factory experience would be beneficial.
Quality & Safety
You will be expected to maintain high standards of food safety, hygiene, quality and Health & Safety at all times and support the company's internal and external quality requirements. xgikmsk
Overtime is paid at time and a half and may be offered to cover holidays, absences, and business needs, although it is not guaranteed.
Shifts
- Thursday to Saturday and alternate Wednesdays from 06:00-18:00
- Sunday to Tuesday and alternate Wednesdays from 06:00-18:00
- Saturday to Monday and alternate Tuesdays from 18:00-06:00- additional shift allowance
