Teamwork Partnership is recruiting an experienced and hands-on Manufacturing Director to lead multi-site manufacturing operations in a fast-paced, high-volume FMCG food manufacturing environment. This senior leadership opportunity is responsible for driving operational excellence, commercial performance, continuous improvement, and people leadership across production and warehouse operations.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead manufacturing operations across production and warehouse functions
  • Drive operational performance and execution excellence across all sites
  • Ensure delivery of high-volume ambient food production targets
  • Maintain strong shop floor presence and visible leadership
  • Work closely with major UK supermarkets to deliver quality, service, and cost targets
  • Support commercial teams with operational insight and feasibility planning
  • Ensure customer requirements and promotional demands are achieved
  • Lead Continuous Improvement initiatives across all manufacturing operations
  • Deliver efficiency gains across labour, waste, yield, and downtime
  • Implement lean manufacturing principles and KPI ownership
  • Lead and develop senior operational leadership teams
  • Build a strong performance culture with accountability and engagement
  • Coach and develop operational managers and site leaders
  • Ensure compliance with BRC, food safety, hygiene, and HSE standards
  • Maintain retailer audit standards and operational controls
  • Oversee risk management and incident resolution processes

Requirements

  • Proven experience as a Manufacturing Director, Operations Director, or Head of Operations within FMCG manufacturing
  • Strong experience managing multi-site manufacturing operations
  • Experience working with major UK retailers and supermarket accounts
  • Background within high-volume ambient food manufacturing
  • Strong commercial and operational understanding
  • Proven track record leading operational transformation and CI programmes
  • Hands-on leadership style with strong people management capability

Desirable Experience

  • Ethnic food manufacturing experience
  • Lean manufacturing or CI methodology experience
  • Warehouse and supply chain operational leadership
