Teamwork partnership are seeking a dedicated and skilled Hygiene operative to join our team. We have an exciting opportunity to join our team as a Service Operative within the Hygiene Group, based at Waltham in the Wolds. This role is essential in maintaining high standards of hygiene and safety across animal housing and associated areas.

Main Responsibilities

  • Clean animal housing pens, paddocks and associated areas to agreed hygiene standards.
  • Use cleaning equipment and materials safely, in line with Health & Safety guidelines.
  • Report maintenance issues and hazards promptly.
  • Keep cleaning stores tidy, organized, and ensure equipment is stored safely.
  • Carry out specialist cleaning tasks such as animal waste and drain collection.
  • Work flexibly, including weekends, bank holidays.
  • Complete mandatory training.

The Ideal Candidate

  • Previous cleaning experience (desirable, not essential).
  • Comfortable working within animal housing environments.
  • Strong communication, timekeeping, and teamwork skills.
  • Reliable, safety-conscious, and eager to learn.
  • Positive can-do attitude and commitment to high hygiene standards.

Working Hours:

8:00am 5:00pm (must arrive before 8am to be on-unit ready)

Working Pattern:

Shift 4 days on 2 days off. Temp – Perm, including weekends and bank holidays (including Christmas Day)
