Responsibilities
- At TeamViewer we’re on a mission to make it possible for each of our users to provide the best support to their customers via a remote device and be able to solve any problem in the most complex environments.
- As a Team Lead Product Designer, you’ll bring a creative mindset to the heart of our product and engineering teams and play an essential role in shaping the future of our product offerings.
- As a design leader, you will set the standard for design excellence and craft, helping to define product direction while mentoring and inspiring your team.
- You will take features from initial vision through to execution and launch, ensuring designs meet the needs of TeamViewer’s diverse user base through prototyping, iteration, and attention to detail.
- Represent the product design team in discussions with product and engineering stakeholders, facilitating productive dialogues and ensuring design quality.
- Collaborate with product managers to define features, influence the direction of product areas, and refine design processes in partnership with design leadership.
- Create product concepts and mockups that balance strategic vision, business goals, and user experience.
- Set a high bar for design by delivering exceptional work and guiding your team in achieving the same standard.
- Foster a culture of trust, feedback, and continuous learning, serving as a mentor for other designers.
- Identify connections across teams and initiatives to ensure a cohesive, end-to-end user experience across all TeamViewer products.
- Collaborate with the UX Research team to understand customer needs and integrate insights into product roadmaps and design iterations.
- Contribute intentionally to the evolution and scalability of our design system.
- Design within technical, business, and time constraints to deliver innovative yet practical solutions.
Requirements
- A minimum of 5 years in UX/UI design within a product or software development team.
- Proven ability to manage projects independently, from concept to launch.
- Strong skills in prototyping and mockup creation, delivering clear, visually appealing, and user-centric interfaces.
- Exceptional ability to articulate complex design concepts effectively at all levels of the organization.
- Deep understanding of user-centered design, user research, usability testing, rapid prototyping, and accessibility principles.
