We’re looking for an experienced, enthusiastic, and committed Sports Coach & Educator to join our team.
We are recruiting a Sports Coach & Educator to lead, deliver and support outstanding PE and sports provision across our school partnerships, after-school clubs, and holiday camp programmes in the Medway district. This role is ideal for someone passionate about sport, education, and inclusion — someone who wants to use their energy and expertise to inspire.
Responsibilities
- Delivering high-quality PE lessons aligned with the National Curriculum.
- Leading and supporting after-school clubs and extracurricular programmes.
- Providing sports coaching during holiday camps and leading sessions for children aged 4–11.
- Driving community engagement through sport and physical activity.
- Assisting with administration tasks, planning, and resource preparation.
- Attending internal training, team meetings, and CPD events.

Requirements
Experience & Knowledge
- Minimum 2 years’ experience delivering PE in primary schools.
- Strong understanding of the PE National Curriculum.
- Experience working in classroom and coaching environments.
- Familiarity with using digital tools (e.g., Microsoft Excel, planning software).
- Experience managing or supporting school sports events.
- Comfortable using social media for engagement and content sharing.
Qualifications
- Minimum of NGB Level 2 coaching qualification.
- A valid driving licence and access to transport.
- First Aid and Safeguarding certificates (or willingness to obtain).
Desirable
- Gymnastics coaching experience or qualification.
- Additional qualifications in child development, education, or mentoring.
