A warm, ambitious 11–18 secondary school on the outskirts of Worcester is seeking a motivated English ECT to join its successful English faculty from January 2026. The school is well regarded locally for its excellent pastoral systems, calm behaviour and commitment to professional development.

The Role

You’ll teach English across KS3–KS4, using well-designed schemes that blend challenging literature with clear literacy routines. The department provides ECTs with full unit plans, model essays, vocabulary guides and shared assessments to support confident, high-quality delivery. You will also receive weekly mentoring sessions, coaching cycles and opportunities to observe experienced practitioners.
