Location: South of the UK

Trinity Fire & Security are hiring a Fire Damper Engineer to install & maintain fire dampers and associated systems. In the role, you will be working on mechanical, electrical fire damper and HVAC systems. Working across the South of the UK, you’ll be working as part of a skilled team of Engineers and support staff to build on the company’s reputation in quality and customer service.

The role of Damper Engineer:

  • Install, service, and maintain fire dampers in line with Trinity’s quality, safety, and efficiency standards.
  • Ensure correct assembly, alignment, and secure installation of dampers within ductwork and ventilation systems.
  • Carry out inspections, routine maintenance, and adjustments to ensure dampers remain fully operational.
  • Support the repair and replacement of faulty components and troubleshoot technical issues.
  • Accurately maintain service records, reports, and compliance documentation.

Requirements:

  • Strong mechanical aptitude with a basic understanding of fire damper systems, construction practices, and safety protocols.
  • Ability to follow technical instructions and work collaboratively as part of a team.
