Risk Transformation Manager
Location: London (Hybrid)
About the Role
We are seeking high-performing Risk Transformation Managers to join a leading advisory team delivering complex, large-scale change programmes across financial services.
This role is specifically focused on individuals who have hands-on experience leading the delivery of risk transformation initiatives , rather than purely BAU risk, audit, or compliance activity.
You will work closely with senior client stakeholders to design, implement, and embed enterprise risk frameworks, operating models, and control environments , driving meaningful business outcomes.
What You’ll Do

Lead end-to-end delivery of risk transformation programmes , including framework design, control optimisation, and operating model change

Own and manage workstreams within large-scale transformation programmes , delivering tangible outcomes (not just analysis)

Design and implement:

Enterprise Risk Management frameworks
-
Controls frameworks and remediation programmes
-
Risk operating models and governance structures
-

Translate regulatory requirements into pragmatic, business-aligned solutions
-
Use data, analytics, and technology to enhance risk insight and decision-making
-
Deliver clear, structured outputs for senior stakeholders (C-suite / risk committees)

Contribute to client growth , including shaping proposals, solution design, and delivery approaches
What We’re Looking For
We are intentionally targeting candidates with a strong blend of consulting capability and risk transformation experience .
Essential Experience
-
6–10 years’ experience in financial services risk, consulting, or transformation roles
-
Proven track record delivering risk transformation initiatives , such as:

Framework design and implementation
-
Control improvement or remediation programmes
-
Risk operating model changes
-

Experience working in a consulting or client-facing environment (e.g. consulting firm or internal transformation team)

Demonstrated ability to:

Lead workstreams
-
Manage stakeholders at senior levels
-
Deliver outcomes in complex programmes
-
Highly Desirable
-
Experience in top-tier consulting firms or tier 1 financial institutions
-
Exposure to multiple risk domains (e.g. operational risk, financial risk, non-financial risk)

Strong data and analytical capability , including exposure to:

Power BI, SQL, Python, or similar tools
-
Risk reporting, dashboards, or automation initiatives

Experience contributing to proposals, client development, or commercial activities
We Are Not Looking For
This role is not suited to:

Pure audit, assurance, or control testing profiles

Candidates with only BAU risk/compliance experience

Individuals without demonstrated delivery of transformation or change initiatives
