You would be working in a highly successful Design and Technology department teaching across KS3, KS4 and KS5. The department benefits from specialist workshops, CAD software, laser cutting facilities and well-equipped practical classrooms that enable students to develop creativity alongside technical expertise. Students study a broad curriculum covering Product Design, Resistant Materials and engineering principles while developing practical problem-solving skills through a range of design projects. The department has a strong record of examination success and many students continue into engineering, architecture and product design courses after sixth form.
Teachers work collaboratively to deliver engaging lessons that challenge students of all abilities while encouraging innovation and independent thinking. The department also offers a range of extracurricular activities including STEM competitions, engineering clubs and design challenges.
