About PTSG. A short history – an incredible story. PTSG was founded in 2007 to fulfil an industry need for a single provider of multiple specialist services to the construction and FM sectors. Since then, we’ve grown steadily, securing major new and renewed contracts that reinforce our role as a trusted, multi-service partner. The Group, headquartered in Castleford, West Yorkshire, employs around 3,000 people in the UK and Europe. This staffing allows us to mobilise our experts to any site, regardless of location. Consequently, we serve more than 300,000 buildings for over 30,000 customers in a wide range of industry sectors. Our multinational presence grew substantially with the acquisition of Flame Control in February 2024. Based in the municipality of Harderwijk, the company specialises in fire alarm systems, first aid, evacuation, extinguishing systems and extinguishing agents. Flame Control has a team of 40 specialists that work extensively across the Netherlands. Their specialists work seven days a week to improve fire safety in businesses and residential properties.

Recent national framework and specialist service agreements with Mitie, CBRE, Sodexo, Vinci, BNP Paribas Real Estate, ABM, ISS and others span a wide range of services:

  • Fall protection and access and safety
  • Electrical and lightning protection testing
  • Specialist cleaning, maintenance, and façade access
  • Fire solutions and compliance
  • Water treatment and hygiene

Whether site-specific or nationwide, our packages deliver consistent, scalable service with precision and professionalism.

As we continue our growth journey, we are seeking two exceptional Group Business Development Directors to join our senior growth team. These are not conventional business development roles. These are among the most senior and commercially significant sales positions within PTSG. They offer direct exposure to the senior leadership team, together with the opportunity to influence the future growth of a market-leading business.

We are looking for proven business development professionals with an exceptional track record of winning major accounts, creating strategic opportunities and delivering significant revenue growth. Individuals who are energised by the challenge of opening doors, building influential relationships and converting complex opportunities into long-term commercial success. You will be expected to operate at the highest level, engaging with board directors, C-suite executives, property owners, managing agents, FM providers and major corporate customers. You will have the credibility, commercial intelligence and determination to secure opportunities that materially impact the Group's growth ambitions.

Success in this role will be measured by one thing above all else: results. You will carry significant personal sales targets and will be accountable for identifying, developing and securing new business opportunities across the Group's service offering. The role demands resilience, discipline, commercial acumen and an unwavering commitment to delivery.

The successful candidates will demonstrate:

  • A proven track record of delivering substantial revenue growth and exceeding challenging sales targets
  • Experience securing complex, high-value, multi-service contracts
  • The ability to engage and influence decision-makers at board and executive level
  • Exceptional commercial awareness and negotiation skills
  • A strategic approach to business development coupled with a relentless focus on execution
  • Strong networking and relationship-building capabilities
  • The drive, resilience and ambition required to succeed in a high-performance environment
  • A reputation for delivering results and creating lasting commercial value

At PTSG, we believe that great businesses are built by exceptional people. We offer the opportunity to work within a market-leading organisation that continues to invest in growth, innovation and talent.
