You would be working in a successful and ambitious Business department teaching Business Studies across KS4 and KS5. The department is highly collaborative and focused on delivering engaging lessons that develop students’ commercial awareness, analytical thinking and understanding of real-world business environments. Students are enthusiastic about Business Studies and enjoy exploring topics including marketing, finance, operations and entrepreneurship through engaging and discussion-based lessons. The curriculum is carefully sequenced to support independent learning, evaluative writing and confident presentation skills. The department has a strong record of excellent academic outcomes and staff work collaboratively to ensure students of all abilities are supported and challenged effectively. Teachers are encouraged to contribute positively to enrichment activities including enterprise projects, careers events and intervention programmes.
