About the Role
A high-performing mixed secondary academy (11–18) in Harrogate is recruiting a proactive HR & Recruitment Officer to manage recruitment cycles, onboarding, and HR coordination across the school. This is a busy, varied role ideal for someone with strong organisational skills.
Key Responsibilities
• Oversee recruitment campaigns, advertising, shortlisting, and scheduling
• Prepare offer letters, contracts, and onboarding packs
• Process DBS checks, references, medical clearance, and vetting
• Update the Single Central Record daily
• Support HR Manager with ER casework and note-taking
• Coordinate induction and probation reviews
About You
• School HR or recruitment experience preferred
• Strong administrative skills and attention to detail
• Excellent communication skills with staff, applicants, and leaders
