We are seeking a dedicated, confident, and experienced Year 6 Teacher to join a welcoming and inclusive primary school in Derby, starting ASAP. This is a fantastic opportunity for a teacher who is passionate about supporting upper Key Stage 2 pupils as they prepare for SATs and transition to secondary education. The successful candidate will:

  • Hold QTS (Qualified Teacher Status)
  • Have recent experience teaching upper Key Stage 2, ideally Year 6
  • Be confident in SATs preparation and assessment
  • Have strong classroom management and organisational skills
  • Be enthusiastic, reflective, and child-centred in approach
  • Be a collaborative team player with excellent communication skills
  • Be committed to safeguarding and promoting pupil wellbeing
