An established and forward-thinking private school in Cambridge invites applications for the position of Music Teacher. This is an exciting opportunity to join a thriving performing arts faculty within a school that places creativity, scholarship and performance at the heart of its educational philosophy. We are seeking a talented and inspiring musician-educator who can nurture individual potential while contributing to a rich programme of concerts, recitals and co-curricular music.

The successful candidate will:

  • Teach Music across Key Stages 3 and 4, with the opportunity to contribute to KS5
  • Deliver a balanced curriculum including performance, composition, listening and music theory
  • Prepare pupils for GCSE and, where appropriate, A Level Music
  • Contribute to the school’s extensive co-curricular programme
  • Lead and/or accompany ensembles, choirs or chamber groups
  • Support individual instrumentalists and performance scholars
  • Play an active role in concerts, productions and whole-school events

Independent school life extends beyond the classroom, and the Music Teacher will be expected to contribute fully to the wider academic and pastoral community.
