Giacom is the only provider of Comms, Cloud, Hardware and Billing through one platform. Our platform connects technology resellers and service providers to the best IT, Comms and Cloud products and services so they can create brilliant technology solutions for UK businesses. The Platform Product Management (PPM) team, comprised of Heads of Product, Product Owners and Business Analysts, is at the forefront of defining and orchestrating Giacom's technological evolution. Entrusted with the vision and roadmap of our platform, Cloud Market, we ensure every innovation prioritises our partners' experience.

The Business Analyst, working within the PPM team, is fundamental to the efficient and effective delivery of business solutions. Working with stakeholders to understand business requirements, responsible for identifying and analysing challenges facing our business and our partners and recommending actions to be taken. It is the responsibility of the Business Analyst to ensure that the appropriate technical and functional documentation is captured and presented appropriately, providing entity relationship diagrams, activity diagrams, and use case scenarios to inform the onward development of Giacom’s products and services.

What you'll be doing:

  • Document objectives, scope, partner processes, and requirements.
  • Understand and define user requirements and goals.
  • Lead analytical thinking and use data analysis to drive decision-making and improvements, ensuring business processes are clearly mapped out.
  • Work with the Product Owner to create use case scenarios, user stories, and acceptance criteria completed to the expected standard.
  • Work closely with cross-functional teams, engineers, QAs, agile delivery leads, DevOps, and UX to ensure that requirements are well-integrated and that development aligns with design and operational standards, and insights are well-integrated into the roadmap.
  • Engage with multiple areas of the business, ensuring that no single area dominates your workload.

Skills & Experience:

  • Excellent communication skills, with the ability to talk to and present to a range of audiences, sometimes acting as a translator between parties.
  • The ability to work under pressure on multiple projects within your project timeframes.
  • A passion for creating solutions with a positive attitude to change.
  • Strong analytical thinking and data analysis skills, with a sharp eye for improving processes and finding solutions.
  • A thorough understanding of the Agile approach and Scrum methodology.
