The Role
- Teaching Science across KS3 and KS4
- Planning and delivering engaging, well-structured lessons
- Supporting practical Science lessons with a strong focus on safety and understanding
- Assessing pupil progress and providing clear, constructive feedback
- Working collaboratively within a supportive Science team and engaging fully with ECT mentor sessions
The Ideal Candidate Will Have
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) by September 2026
- A degree in a Science-related subject
- Successful placement experience teaching Science at KS3 and KS4
- Strong subject knowledge and confident classroom practice
- High expectations for pupil engagement, behaviour, and progress
- A professional, organised, and positive teaching approach
