We are currently seeking a dynamic and enthusiastic MFL Teacher to join a high-achieving and ambitious secondary school in Basingstoke, Hampshire. This is a full-time, permanent position starting in January 2026, offering an excellent opportunity to inspire students and contribute to an outstanding Languages Department.

Role Information

You will teach MFL across KS3–KS5, specialising in French and/or Spanish, depending on your area of expertise. Experience and Qualifications

  • Degree in Modern Foreign Languages or a related discipline
  • PGCE and QTS (or equivalent)
  • Ability to teach at least one language to KS5 and a second to KS4
  • Excellent subject knowledge and strong classroom management skills
  • Passion for inspiring students to achieve linguistic and cultural excellence

Salary: Paid to scale on MPS / UPS
