About the role
We’re excited to be recruiting two Divisional HR Business Partners (One North, One South) into brand‑new, high‑impact roles within our People & Culture function. We are looking for a commercially minded HR professional who thrives in fast‑paced, hospitality‑led, multi‑site environments and enjoys being close to the business. You’ll operate at both a strategic and hands‑on level, working with senior leaders to embed people practices that support performance, engagement, and compliance across the Division.
Reporting to the People and Culture Director, you’ll partner closely with the Divisional Operations Director and the Central People Team to ensure our People strategy is not only well‑designed — but genuinely lived on the ground. At the heart of this role is a simple goal: to ensure every one of our Crew has a great experience working with us, while supporting the business to perform at pace, remain compliant, and deliver outstanding guest experiences.
What you’ll be doing
- Partner with Operations leaders across multiple sites to deliver effective people solutions
- Translating People & Culture strategy into practical, scalable solutions that work in a fast‑moving, customer‑facing environment
- Provide hands‑on HR support across employee relations, performance, and compliance
- Being highly visible across sites, coaching and supporting General Managers and leadership teams
- Leading and managing complex employee relations cases with confidence and pragmatism
- Supporting high‑volume recruitment, leadership capability, succession planning, and talent development
- Partnering with Operations to manage labour costs, rota efficiency, reward, and engagement
- Use people data to identify trends, reduce risk, and support decision‑making
What we’re looking for
- Proven experience in a HR Business Partner or HR Manager role, ideally within hospitality, retail, leisure, or a similar multi‑site environment
- Strong working knowledge of UK employment legislation
- Commercially minded, with a clear understanding of labour costs, workforce planning, and operational pressures
- Confident influencing senior stakeholders and coaching operational leaders
- Practical, approachable, and solutions‑focused
- A genuinely influential role with autonomy and visibility
- The chance to shape how People & Culture shows up across the Division
- A fast‑growing, fun, and values‑driven hospitality business
- A supportive, values‑led culture where people genuinely matter
- A role where you can make a real difference — not just advise from the sidelines
If you're down to earth, get that the “H” in “HR” stands for Human (that’s mega important), love being close to the action, enjoy variety, and want to influence the culture and performance of a fast paced and evolving business - this is the role for you!
