Peoplelink Staffing Solutions is hiring a Purchasing & Materials Coordinator for a temporary opportunity with a valued manufacturing client in Bristol, IN.
In this role, you will support the Materials Department by managing purchase orders, communicating with suppliers, and helping ensure materials are available to maintain production and business operations.

- Job Overview
- Schedule: Approximately 6:30 AM - 4:00 PM, Monday-Thursday
Key Responsibilities
- Create and maintain purchase orders within the TCM Work Wise MRP system.
- Process indirect purchase requisitions and convert them into purchase orders.
- Follow up with suppliers regarding order acknowledgments, delivery schedules, and open orders.
- Review expedite reports and coordinate with suppliers to secure materials needed for production.
- Communicate order status updates, delivery concerns, and supplier issues to the Materials team.
- Maintain accurate purchasing records and system data.
- Support additional purchasing and materials functions as needed.

Qualifications
- Previous experience in purchasing, materials, customer service, or administrative support preferred.
- Strong organizational and communication skills.
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and follow through on deadlines.
- Basic computer proficiency, including Microsoft Excel.
- Experience with MRP or ERP systems preferred.
- Ability to work independently while collaborating effectively with suppliers and internal teams.
