We are looking for a London-based Manager to lead a global production team onsite at a top technology company. Acting with an Executive Producer mindset, you will oversee Events, Studio Video, and Post-Production, managing a multi-disciplinary team of 20+ across London and Mountain View, Bay Area, California. This strategic client-centric role blends creative vision with commercial expertise. You will manage team budgets, drive contract negotiations, present performance analytics, and deliver end-to-end production services while championing continuous improvement.
Duties & Responsibilities
- Act as the primary representative for the managed service, building robust, trusting relationships with all stakeholders, specifically working closely with the client to align production services with workplace operations.
- Lead, mentor, and inspire a diverse team of 20+ professionals—including Leads, Technicians, Producers, and Coordinators—across both London and Mountain View, Bay Area, California.
- Proactively investigate ways to continually evolve the service in collaboration with the Client Services Director, delivering against client strategic direction.
- Work in partnership with the internal HQ team to recruit high-caliber candidates and elite freelance talent to meet fluctuating project demands.
- Act as the primary point of escalation and arbiter for blockers, providing regular 1:1 coaching, performance management, and goal setting to drive professional growth.
- Represent the senior leadership team by modeling company values and collaborating with leaders to align managed service delivery across hubs.
- Synthesize and present full-scale production data and analytics for Event and Studio operations during business reviews to illustrate patterns, predict future trends, and provide data-backed solutions.
- Support the client for new Event space or Studio builds, collaborating with the team through the design, implementation, and launch phases of new physical production environments.
- Take full ownership of team budgets, assembling and delivering detailed financial reporting related to managed services and associated spend across all verticals.
- Ensure the managed service consistently meets or exceeds all contracted Service Level Agreements (SLAs) while scaling resources effectively to meet client demand.
Skills & Qualifications
- A proven track record of managing large, diverse teams across multiple time zones.
- A demonstrated ability to thrive in high-growth, fast-paced environments, modeling resilience and adaptability for the team during constant change.
- Experience directing departmental budgets and resource allocation strategies to maximise ROI and ensure long-term financial sustainability.
- Experience in leveraging production analytics to drive executive decision-making, converting complex data sets into actionable high-level business strategies.
- Seasoned in high-stakes contract negotiations with the VP and Director of Client services and governs complex SLAs to ensure vendor alignment with enterprise goals.
- Ability to provide executive-level oversight across the production lifecycle, setting the standard for storytelling excellence and brand integrity on global initiatives.
- Exceptional communication and presentation skills, with the 'gravitas' required to build trusting relationships with Client and VP-level executives.
- Mastery of Google Workspace including Google Slides and Microsoft Office applications for both data analysis and client-facing presentations.
Education & Experience
- 8+ years of experience delivering AV, Event, and Production services within a global corporate environment (Direct experience with major tech firms is a significant advantage).
