As part of the wider Events & Experiences team, the Event Production team is responsible for complex event production projects and broadcasting globally, delivering optimal experiences for speakers and audiences, whether in-room or watching remotely. This person would be responsible for broadcast gallery events producing.
As a Producer / Show Caller, you will work alongside the Event Production and Production Studios teams as we manage internal events, productions and broadcasts. Productions include talks, stakeholder summits, fireside chats, workshops, town hall style meetings and presentations to large and remote audiences from our state-of-the-art London Campus event spaces.
London / WFH Hybrid (Tue-Thu in the office. Mon & Fri Remote. Some flexibility will be required.)
Duties & Responsibilities
- Execute production plans and deliver assigned internal productions based on direction and established guidelines from the Event Production Manager / Executive Producer.
- Understand onsite, virtual and hybrid production needs, to identify, plan and coordinate production delivery.
- Partner closely with Event Production Managers, Event Managers, Production Studios and other stakeholders across the organisation to manage specific internal productions.
- Demonstrate excellent communication skills to be able to share work and updates to all audiences from a production and technical perspective.
- Utilise Event Production guidance and templates to build production briefs for production crews.
- Translate event owner requests into detailed run-of-show documents, adhering to established production guidelines and templates.
- Act as Show Caller / Producer in the production gallery - coordinate the production crew and guide speakers through the live production.
- Schedule and coordinate crew and speaker rehearsals.
- Organise and coordinate pre & post production communication to audience and speakers, partnering with stakeholders such as Internal comms.
- Monitor event content and slides - working with event owners and speakers to ensure it fits within production guidelines.
- Create and maintain post-production evaluations - track attendance, viewership insights and feedback to provide the Event Production team with timely updates.
- Share any learnings/debriefs from productions to implement in the future.
- Management of productions may include some out of hours working.
Skills & Qualifications
- Demonstrable experience show calling and producing virtual, live and broadcast event productions working with technical production crews.
- Demonstrate a wide portfolio of productions that vary in scope, scale and concept.
- Experience creating and understanding production briefs, schedules, reports and run of show.
- History of integrating and adapting quickly into working cultures and liaising with stakeholders at various levels.
- Proven experience executing and delivering productions from start to finish, demonstrating effective problem resolution and understanding escalation protocols.
- Meticulous attention to detail on production planning and content elements, such as videos, slides and on-air graphics.
- Confident and articulate in both verbal and written communication, with excellent time management skills.
- Ability to simultaneously manage multiple tasks and meet agreed deadlines.
- Ability to change and adapt at pace to the needs of the production.
- Passionate & motivated to provide excellent experiences, whether delivering small internal meetings or larger global broadcast productions.
Education & Experience
You should be a strong all-round production professional with great production management skills and a good understanding of all aspects of production - Specifically Broadcast gallery event producing. Experience and knowledge in TV, Media and/or Broadcast production.
