The Role as Electrical Technician
- You will be responsible for the assembly of cable harnesses and looms to a high standard, with occasional involvement in wiring and mechanical assembly of more complex units such as enclosures and racks.
- All work must meet strict quality and compliance standards.
Key Responsibilities as Electrical Technician
- Manufacture cable assemblies and wiring looms to detailed specifications.
- Carry out cable dressing, lacing, and termination using appropriate tools and accessories.
- Assist with wiring of sub-assemblies, panels, and enclosures following work instructions.
- Ensure all work meets required quality and industry standards.
- Maintain a clean, organised, and safe working environment.
- Work within ESD-controlled areas in line with procedures.
- Properly maintain tools and equipment.
About You
- Previous experience in cable assembly, wiring, or a similar manufacturing role (typically 1–2 years+).

- Ability to follow technical instructions and standard operating procedures.
- Understanding of safe working practices, including COSHH and ESD (desirable).
- IPC/WHMA-A-620 certification or equivalent experience is advantageous.
