An established and growing engineering business is seeking a skilled Mechanical Assembler to join its production team. This is an excellent opportunity for someone with hands-on assembly experience who takes pride in precision, quality, and working to high engineering standards.

The Role as Mechanical Assembler

You will be responsible for assembling mechanical components and sub-assemblies, ensuring all products are built accurately and meet strict quality requirements. The role involves working from technical drawings, using a variety of hand and power tools, and carrying out checks to ensure consistency and performance.

Key Responsibilities

  • Assemble mechanical parts and sub-assemblies in line with engineering specifications
  • Interpret technical drawings, diagrams, and assembly instructions
  • Use hand tools and light machinery to complete assembly tasks
  • Carry out quality checks to ensure accuracy and compliance with standards
  • Support basic maintenance and repair of mechanical equipment where required
