Are you a detail‑oriented Mechanical Engineer with a passion for CAD design, product improvement, and engineering change management? We're working with a well‑established, internationally backed engineering manufacturer seeking a Change Management CAD Engineer to join their growing engineering team. This is a fantastic opportunity to play a key role in the evolution of existing products, supporting engineering change requests, updating designs, and collaborating with multiple departments to drive continuous improvement.
What You’ll Be Doing:
- Creating and modifying 3D models and 2D drawings using SolidWorks
- Investigating and implementing engineering change requests
- Managing drawing revisions and technical documentation
- Updating Bills of Materials (BOMs)
- Supporting engineering process improvements
- Working closely with production, quality, purchasing and engineering teams
What We’re Looking For:
- Degree qualified in Mechanical Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering or similar
- Excellent attention to detail and organisational skills
- Comfortable managing multiple projects and priorities
- Strong communication skills and a collaborative approach
- Passion for continuous improvement
Bonus Skills:
- Electro‑mechanical product knowledge
- SolidWorks PDM experience
- ERP system experience (SAP, IFS, Priority or similar)
