The Opportunity

Team Jobs is working with a well-established and highly regarded business within the heating, cooling and HVAC industry to recruit an experienced

Sales Engineer for their Ipswich branch.

This is a fantastic opportunity for a technically knowledgeable sales professional with experience in refrigeration, air conditioning, chillers and/or AHUs .

Your main focus will be driving business growth by developing new opportunities while building and maintaining strong relationships with existing clients.

  • What You'll Be Doing
  • Identifying and securing new business opportunities across the region.
  • Managing and developing relationships with existing clients.
  • Regularly visiting customer sites to understand their requirements.
  • Providing expert technical advice on refrigeration and air conditioning solutions.
  • Assisting with the design of HVAC systems based on client specifications.
  • Preparing accurate quotations and proposals.
  • Managing opportunities through the full sales process and closing deals .
  • Building strong relationships with customers, suppliers, contractors and internal teams.
  • Delivering an outstanding level of customer service throughout the process.

What We're Looking For

The successful candidate will have

  • A proven sales background within refrigeration, air conditioning, chillers and/or AHUs .
  • Strong technical knowledge of HVAC systems and solutions.
  • Previous customer relationship management experience within the industry.
  • Excellent commercial and financial awareness, including experience managing budgets and resources.
  • Strong communication, negotiation and relationship-building skills.
  • A customer-focused approach with a commitment to delivering excellent service.
