We are recruiting for experienced Industrial Refrigeration Engineers to join a growing engineering team, with opportunities available across the Manchester and Leeds areas . This is a field-based role working on customer sites, carrying out the service, maintenance, and fault-finding of industrial refrigeration systems . You’ll work alongside experienced engineers and be involved with some of the UK’s largest refrigeration customers. Industrial refrigeration experience is preferred, but engineers with a strong commercial refrigeration background and a good understanding of refrigeration principles are also encouraged to apply. Key Responsibilities Service and maintain industrial refrigeration systems and associated equipment Diagnose faults and carry out effective repairs Complete planned and reactive maintenance work Ensure all work is carried out safely and to a high engineering standard Build and maintain positive customer relationships Provide technical information and guidance to customers on site Identify opportunities to improve plant reliability, safety and efficiency Complete service reports and relevant documentation Work collaboratively with the wider engineering team Continue developing technical knowledge of refrigeration systems, components and technologies Requirements Previous experience working as a Refrigeration Engineer Strong understanding of refrigeration fundamentals Commercial refrigeration experience will also be considered Strong fault-finding and diagnostic skills Good customer-facing and communication skills Full UK driving licence Good understanding of health and safety requirements Training
